IN THIS ISSUE:
The goal for our first quarter was to get students setup, establish expectations, and determine the course that we wanted to go with our educational programs.
We tried a few things and finally settled on a combination of IXL, Commonlit.org, and Khan Academy to meet the educational needs of our students. Each platform can be customized for each student’s learning needs.
We are also using Google Classroom (primarily for Grades 3 & up) to give assignments and keep track of grades.
Starting with our next quarter, we will be implementing a new behavioral reward system.
This section will be used to give Shout Outs to students displaying exemplary behavior or go above and beyond expectations in a positive way.
November’s big upcoming event is the Book Report Presentation.
